Director of Administration & Operations, Student Affairs/Coordinator of Parent & Family Programs
Susie Orecchio serves as the Director of Administration & Operations for Student Affairs. In this role, she oversees essential functions of the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs and coordinates and manages areas including, but not limited to: assessment, strategic planning, organizational development, and professional development. Additionally, she advises the Student Finance Board providing closer connections with the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and ensuring the Vice President is aware of pending issues or concerns. She also serves as the Coordinator of Parent & Family Programs including leading the planning and execution of Parent & Family Day.
Ms. Orecchio earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Monmouth University and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from TCNJ. While pursuing her Master’s degree, Ms. Orecchio served as the Graduate Counseling Intern for the Career Center at the College where she provided career counseling, assisted students with major decision making and presented and facilitated workshops on a variety of career-related topics. Upon completing her graduate degree, Ms. Orecchio served as the Interim Assistant Director of the Career Center until she started as the Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Coordinator of Parent & Family Programs in 2014. In this role, she oversaw day to day functions of the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs, provided administrative and scheduling support for the Vice President and contributed to many projects and initiatives within the Division. In August 2016, Ms. Orecchio became the Director of Administration & Operations for Student Affairs and continued her role as Coordinator of Parent & Family Programs.
Ms. Orecchio currently resides in Central Jersey. She enjoys spending time with her husband, family and close friends.
