Student Development is comprised of Co-Curricular & Leadership Development (Leadership, PAW Print/Co-Curricular Experience, ROTC, Student Transitions), Residential Education, Housing, and Dining, Student Life (Brower Student Center, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Recreation & Wellness, Student Government, and Student Involvement), and Conference & Event Services (CES).
Our mission is to create intentional, inclusive, and student-centered experiences that foster growth, belonging, and community, while also providing exceptional events and services for both internal and external clients. We do this by:
- Offering diverse, high-quality programs and services that support student learning and engagement,
- Providing welcoming environments and resources that enhance well-being,
- Creating opportunities for connection and leadership within a vibrant, diverse community.
- Delivering exceptional conference and event services that generate revenue, build partnerships, and create memorable experiences for internal and external clients.
In addition to supporting student engagement and development, Student Development manages several of the College’s revenue enterprises, including student housing, dining, the Brower Student Center, and conference operations. Conference & Event Services in particular strives for excellence by generating revenue through innovative programs and partnerships that sustain TCNJ’s contemporary facilities. By leading essential, high-quality services for both the College and external community, CES strengthens the institution’s mission and impact.
Together, these efforts not only enhance the student experience but also ensure that alumni, faculty, staff, and visitors feel welcomed and connected to the TCNJ community.
